It’s a luxury mid-size sedan with a couple of hybrid powertrains to choose from, but at its quickest, it can rev up from 0 to 60 in about five seconds. We love the Crown for its bold, two-tone, distinct styling.
The Toyota 4Runner is one of the brand’s most well-known SUVs, offering high-quality off-road thrills. The 4Runner is famously built on the same platform as the Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, offering enhanced towing and off-road capabilities that thrive in Montana’s most demanding conditions.
The Corolla is one of the most affordable models in our sedan lineup, and it is often the go-to compact for budget-conscious shoppers. The Corolla might lure you in with an attractive MSRP, but you’ll stay for the fuel economy, which easily clears 50 mpg when driving on the highway.
Like the base Corolla, the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid offers a very attractive starting MSRP. The compact crossover has a hatchback-style layout, offering more cargo space and flexibility than the smaller Corolla. The base Highlander may not have all the bells and whistles of the Grand Highlander, but it’s a much more practical option for families looking for plenty of space for a great price. The Highlander Hybrid offers exactly that, with a lower MSRP than the more luxurious Grand Highlander.
The Land Cruiser remains a cornerstone of the Toyota brand. Instantly recognizable, the Land Cruiser embodies off-road thrills, featuring a configurable cabin with removable doors, a moon roof, and a range of off-road capabilities. The Land Cruiser perfects the formula for off-road fun with a hybrid powertrain.
Toyota’s Mirai is another attempt at the luxury Lexus represents, but without the heftier price tag the Lexus logo brings with it. It uses a fuel-cell electric powertrain, converting hydrogen gas into electricity, without the need to stop at traditional charging stations.
The Toyota Prius burst onto the scene in the early 2000s and stands proudly as the first mass-produced hybrid electric car ever produced. These days, you’ll find flashier hybrids, but you won’t find a hybrid with the fuel economy of the Prius, getting 57 mpg on the highway and 56 in the city.
Toyota added the Prius PHEV after the smash success of the base Prius, offering the same excellent fuel economy, this time with a battery pack that supports all-electric driving. The plug-in hybrid Prius is as close as you can get to a fully electric sedan that still takes gas.
Toyota’s best seller continues to be the RAV4. The compact SUV boasts ample cargo space, excellent fuel economy, and numerous features. As it enters a new generation for 2026, the RAV4 bids farewell to its gas powertrain in favor of hybrid and PHEV powertrains.

The majority of our hybrid models don’t require a plug-in. These powertrains utilize a standard gas engine in conjunction with one or more electric motors to enhance fuel economy. The motor draws power from a battery, which is charged by power from the motor and regenerative braking, so you never have to charge it. Plug-in hybrid models require a charge and offer a limited all-electric driving range of 30 to 50 miles in most cases. These models feature larger electric battery packs that require a charger from a traditional charging station.
