2026 Toyota bZ Woodland Coming Soon to Toyota of Bozeman
Toyota has been a slower adopter to the EV game, instead opting to supplement its reliable gas engines with hybrid powertrains to build on a legacy of reliability and fuel efficiency. The Toyota bZ represented a first step into the EV space in 2023, and since then, Toyota has continued to tweak and innovate, resulting in the brand-new Toyota bZ Woodland, set to make its debut in 2026. The bZ Woodland shares a lot with its older sibling, but adds a more adventurous profile to Toyota’s EV catalog. While the bZ is built to be a highway cruiser and a daily commuter, the bZ Woodland adds an off-road focus to the mix, featuring extra ground clearance, increased towing capacity, all-terrain tires, and more. Most importantly, the new take on the Toyota bZ features a longer wheelbase and body, providing more cargo space to store your gear. We’ll preview everything you need to know about the all-electric Toyota SUV, from the extra features to the range. If you’d like to learn more about the 2026 bZ Woodland, visit Toyota of Bozeman!

New Toyota bZ Woodland Performance and Range
The Woodland shares a powertrain with the bZ, getting a dual-motor EV powertrain that generates 375 horsepower. It has a motor bolted to each axle, so all-wheel drive is standard fare. It’s well-suited for everyday driving our off-road adventures, featuring a reworked suspension system that offers 8.3 inches of ground clearance and available off-road tires. It can tow up to 3,500 lbs, making it a great choice if you’re planning to haul a smaller trailer to the woods. It offers an estimated driving range of 260 miles and can charge at DC fast chargers, where it can go from 10 to 80 percent charge in approximately half an hour. It’s equipped with the North American Charging System (NACS) port, offering access to thousands of chargers nationwide and providing easy plug & charge functionality.
2026 bZ Woodland Features and Cargo Space
The new bZ features an extended wheelbase, giving the compact SUV a more mid-size profile while retaining a two-row seating configuration. We’re still waiting for the confirmed cargo specifications to be released, but we expect to find over 30 cubic feet of cargo space in the rear and more than 70 cubic feet of total cargo space behind the first row. The Woodland will be available in a single trim level, accompanied by an optional Premium Package. It will feature amenities such as a JBL stereo, a fixed-glass roof, and a digital rearview mirror. Heated front seats will be standard across the board, but added amenities, such as a memory driver’s seat and ventilation, are only available with the Premium package. We’re still gathering information on what features to expect on the new bZ Woodland, but as we have more information, we’ll keep you updated.
2026 Toyota bZ Woodland Technology
Technology in the bZ Woodland begins with a 14.0-inch infotainment display positioned at the center of the console. It will connect you to wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and in-dash navigation. A six-speaker stereo system is the norm, but the Premium Package replaces it with a nine-speaker system from JBL. The Premium Package also includes additional USB-C charging ports and a pair of wireless phone chargers. When examining safety features, the bZ Woodland is quite robust, offering standard features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
